The controversial proposed plan to expand the Cedar Hills Regional Landfill will be considered by the King County Regional Policy Committee on Wednesday, April 17th at 1:30pm.
The expansion plan was recently before the County Council but was amended and sent back for further committee action. The Regional Policy Committee consists of three King County Councilmembers, two Seattle City Councilmembers, and four elected officials from local suburban cities. The potential expansion would extend operations of the landfill for up to 20 more years.
