Reminder: Tahoma families are invited to “Science on Wheels,” a Lifting Literacy event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27 at the King County Library System, Maple Valley Library.
Sponsored by the Maple Valley Library Guild and #MapleValleyRotary, the event features Pacific Science Center‘s engineering unit, with hands on exhibits for kids.
As always, there will also be games, snacks, prizes, free books and a story or two with Librarian Sharon Chastain! Parents may also talk with Tahoma reading specialists about individual needs. Any children who would like to participate in the book swap may bring five good-condition elementary level books and trade them in for new-to-you books.
