Here’s your chance to race! Friday May 3, 2019at the premiere racing facility in the Northwest, Pacific Raceways. This is the 49th Annual Cornwell Tools All High School Drags. This is a great way to cheer on your school and obtain bragging rights for the year. There, as always, will be head to head competition between schools to see who is the best on the strip. This year the winning school will receive a fully stocked Cornwell Tools chest. If that is not enough the High School Champ of the race will compete at the 32nd Annual NHRA Northwest Nationals in August.
Along with all the racing action, there will be the ever popular “Burnout Contest” as well as music, food and fun. The Burnout contest is $25 and is limited to the first 12 entries at the Pro Shop. There is also the Special Alumni Class for “Kids” 25 and under, not in High School. Drag race car and driver tech card is $40. Gates open at 1:00 PM and time trials start at 3:00 PM, with eliminations beginning at 6:00 PM. Spectator tickets are just $15 bucks, and if you have an ASB card you get in for $10.00. There is Free Parking in the pits.
