On Friday night. April 10 about 11:16 p.m. a man died after being hit by a vehicle while standing in a lane along Highway 18 in Covington. He was 55-year-old man from Hoquiam.
An 18-year old Auburn woman was traveling from SR 516 and going westbound on Highway 18 when she hit a man standing in the roadway. He died at the scene. The highway for about four hours. It is not known why the man was standing in the roadway.
