The City of Maple Valley Parks and Recreation Department has opened the Beach House at Lake Wilderness Park for boat rentals and concessions. The hours for rentals and concessions are scheduled from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. daily through August 23, weather permitting.
The swim beach is classified as “swim at your own risk” since no lifeguards will be on duty until further notice. Life Jackets are available at the beach kiosk at no charge to beachgoers. The City continues to monitor the COVID-19 re-opening guidelines and protocols and will provide updated information on Lake Wilderness Park and the Parks and Recreation programs as they become available.
