It is hard to believe that it is that time of the year again. We have all struggled through some difficult times with what has affected us this past year. No one has been affected more than the children. Trying to make sense of it all in 2021 has not been easy for any of them. So this year’s Annual NW Toy Run being held December 5th at Pacific Raceways carries a special meaning for them.
As always this is for the kids that might not have a Christmas morning of joy. The goal this year is to take in $200,000 in toy donations. Due to the latest COVID restrictions the event is once again a drive-thru. The Trunk or Treat drive thru event held on Halloween saw 4,000 kids come through.
The yearly NW Toy Run is being presented by Pacific Raceways and Chevron. The event is sponsored by Lexus of Bellevue and O’Brian Auto Group. Entrance to the event will be a new unwrapped toy or a $5.00 donation. Concessions, coffee trucks, stickers and shirts will be available as well. This is the last event of the season and the most meaningful for all those children looking forward to Christmas. I know from past events they won’t be disappointed. The event will be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
