Would you like to learn more about the City’s planning efforts for a future, walkable Maple Valley Downtown with centrally located restaurants and shops? Please join the City of Maple Valley Planning Commission as they host a virtual public Open House and Public Hearing to discuss their recommendations for the City’s Downtown Design Standards and Guidelines.
The virtual public Open House will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19. After a brief presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and hear staff and Planning Commission responses on the Downtown Design recommendations. This webinar will be recorded and available for public viewing following the Open House.
Following the presentation, at 7:00 p.m., the Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing where an opportunity for public comment will be provided and formally transmitted to the City Council. Submit all written public comment to Debi Yankeh at debi.yankeh@maplevalleywa.govThe Public Hearing period will be left open until February 2 for additional public comment.
