To commemorate Memorial Day 2022, the Avenue of Flags will be displayed in Tahoma National Cemetery to honor our Veterans for their service and sacrifice. Gravesite flags will be placed on all gravesites by our local Middle and High School, prior to Memorial Day weekend.
Our Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the flagpole assembly area. Congresswoman Kim Schrier and Executive Director NCA Pacific District Bradley Phillips will be the speakers.
Cemetery grounds will be open during the entire weekend from sunrise to sunset. Please be careful on the roads as they do expect their roads to be busier than usual and please avoid parking in the grass.
Additionally, the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Legacy Memorial site allows family and friends to honor any Veteran interred in a VA national cemetery with photos, documents, and biographical sketches: https://www.va.gov/remember.
