Lake Sawyer Church is hosting a Christmas Festival for the community on Saturday, December 17, 2022 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at their campus in Black Diamond off of Lake Sawyer Rd SE. The community is invited to join the festivities; the event is free to the public.
This holiday extravaganza will include free professional Santa photos, a complimentary pancake dinner, face painting, carnival games, and crafts for kids.
Plus, a chance to finish up holiday shopping with local artisan vendors. There will be a variety of booths to peruse.
The highlight of the evening will be a special performance by the Lake Sawyer Kids Choir at 5:30pm. During the month of December, the children in our community are invited to join the Lake Sawyer Kids Choir. They will learn Christmas songs at church on Sunday, practicing each week and will perform at Jingle Bell Bash.
The community is invited to participate in a Gingerbread House Contest! Both traditional gingerbread and graham cracker structures will be accepted. The winners in four categories will be announced, and the winning designs will remain on display at the church on Sunday, December 18, 2022. There will be awards for adults, kids ages 13 and up, 12 and under, and People’s Choice! Gingerbread houses must be dropped off at the church between 12 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
