We The People Wins State Championship

Tahoma High School’s We the People Team are Washington State Champions! On Saturday, Jan. 7, the team won first place at the 2023 We the People Washington State Championship and will be representing the State of Washington at the We the People National Finals in Washington, D.C. in April.

“These incredible Tahoma seniors are an inspiration, representing a wide range of positions on the political spectrum, while engaging in daily civil discourse,” said We the People teacher Gretchen Wulfing. “These hard-working young adults will uphold our Constitutional principles and protect our democracy.”
