GMVUAC: Monthly Meeting for Area Council is Monday

The next Area Council monthly meeting will be held Monday, May 1 from 7 – 9:30 PM at the Maple Valley Fire Station at 22225 SE 231st St (across from the KC Sheriff’s Precinct).

We have two sets of Guest Speakers: (1) Maple Valley Fire Protection District #43 Commissioners, John Herbert and Camille Walls, who will discuss plans for siting Fire Stations and (2) City of Maple Valley Mayor, Sean Kelly, and City Manager, Laura Philpot, who will discuss the 2023 Iron Man event and other projects that effect both the city and unincorporated residents in the Tahoma School District.

As a hybrid meeting, members of the public will be able to attend either in-person or virtually via Zoom. Agenda and Zoom information will, be posted on the Area Council’s website www.gmvuac.org several days before the meeting.
