August 11-13 Pacific Raceways hosted the 48th Annual Lucas Oil Divisional race for drivers and crews coming in from around the Northwest and Canada all looking to add points to their Championship hopes at the end of the 2023 racing season. Saturday time trials saw Ryan Carlson from Maple Valley do his “burn out” in his ’10 RCF dragster as he gets ready for his run down the quarter mile. Before the weekend race was completed another Maple Valley driver Jiovanni Collecchi powered his “08 Worthy dragster to a win in the Super Pro class. He also competed at the Flav-R-Pac NW Nationals.
