On 08/11/2023 at approximately 1450 hours, officers were dispatched to the 32000 block of Railroad Ave in reference to a male inside the business, who was not a customer and refusing to leave. Officer contacted the male subject and upon request by staff, trespassed the male from the property.

On 08/13/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 32700 block of Ten Trails Pkwy SE regarding two vehicles speeding through the neighborhood. A caller advised they saw two vehicles described as a red and white Hyundai speeding in the area. Officers conducted an area check and were unable to locate any vehicles matching the description given.

On 08/13/2023, Black Diamond Officers received two alerts from the FLOCK system regarding a stolen motor vehicle. Officers conducted a check through WACIC/NCIC and received a return showing the vehicle as stolen. Officers later attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 22800 block of SE Fir ST. The vehicle fled and was abandoned nearby. The occupants fled the scene on foot and were not pursued. The vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Puyallup and impounded by Royal Towing.

on 08/14/2023, officers received an in person report at the Black Diamond police station of malicious mischief, Trespassing, and illegal dumping. Officers are currently investigating this incident.

On 8/14/2023 Officers responded to a report of a subject trespassing in the 31000 block of 229TH AVE SE. A property owner advised surveillance footage showed a subject entering the property overnight but they had not been seen leaving. Officers cleared the property and confirmed the subject was no longer on site. The property owner also advised that an item was missing from an outdoor garage. The theft was documented in a case report for the owner.

On 08/14/23, officers were dispatched to provide a civil stand by at the 32600 block of Abrams Ave. Officers stood by as the involved party collected personal belongings and then left the property.

On 08/14/2023, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 30200 block of 224th AVE SE. Fire was requested to the scene for the driver who appeared to be having a medical emergency. The driver was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital and then Officers cleared the scene.

On 08/15/2023, Officers were dispatched to a vehicle prowl at 32800 block of 1st Ave. There was no forced entry into the vehicle and nothing was stolen. The suspect did remove the vehicle’s steering column in attempt to steal the vehicle.

On 08/16/2023, an Officer was dispatched to an animal problem at the 24400 block of Roberts Dr. Upon arrival, a dead deer was found in the roadway which had most likely been hit by a vehicle. The deer was moved off the roadway and Animal Control was notified so they could retrieve it.

On 8-16-2023, at approximately 21:54 hours, Officers located an unoccupied stolen vehicle at the 22800 block of SE Fir ST. Officers confirmed the vehicle as stolen and contacted the registered owner of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the location.

On 08/13/2023 1815 hours, officers were dispatched to the 29000 block of 226TH AVE SE, in reference to a suspicious vehicle being in the area for hours, with a male sleeping inside. Upon officers arriving they contacted the occupant who was awake and stated they were waiting for a friend to arrive with food. The friend arrived a short time later and vehicle left the area. No crimes were identified.

On 08/20/2023, Officers were on routine patrol in the 24000 block of SE 288th ST and witnessed a single vehicle collision. King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) and Fire Department responded to the scene. Officers provided information to KCSO and fire personnel and cleared the scene without incident.

On 08/21/2023, an Officer was dispatched to a juvenile problem at the 22900 block of SE Fir St. Complainant advised that there was a juvenile in the area driving a go-cart on the roadway. Upon arrival, the Officer searched the area and was unable to locate the go-cart or juvenile.

On 08/21/23, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious subject in the Ten Trails Development. It was reported the subject was following a woman as she was walking through the development. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the subject. Officers determined no crime had occurred and cleared the scene.

On 08/22/2023, Officers were dispatched to a traffic complaint. Officers located the involved vehicle and spoke with the driver. The driver denied any wrong doing and advised the reporting party had failed to stop at a stop sign in unincorporated King County, slowed to 45 mph in a 50 mph zone, and later brake checked him when he flashed his lights at the vehicle. Officers determined no crime was committed and advised the subject to not engage in road rage with other drivers.

On 08/23/23 at approximately 1512 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 26000 block of Lawson Street, in reference to a suspicious person. The officer was advised a male was parked blocking an access gate to the property in their new body style white Chevrolet pickup. Upon the subject being asked to move their vehicle, they became verbally aggressive before leaving the scene. The license plate was not obtained for attempted contact of the subject, a check of the surrounding area yielded negative results.

On 08/23/2023, an Officer was dispatched to the 22300 block SE 290th St. It was determined that an anti-harassment order was violated and a citation will be sent to the suspect.

On 8/24/2023, an officer was in the 29200 block of 216 AVE SE when they observed a vehicle with multiple equipment violations. The vehicle was stopped and it was found the driver did not have a license or insurance. The driver was cited for the violations and the vehicle was impounded as there were no licensed drivers.
