Comin’ to the NW Toy Run?

On Sunday December 3rd Pacific Raceways will host the 21st Annual NW Toy Run and celebrate their 20thAnniversary.  Their goal as always is to bring holiday cheer to those less fortunate children this Christmas season.  The proceeds from the Toy Run benefit the Rick Rizzs’ Toys for Kids program in the Puget Sound region.  This was started in 1995 by Seattle Mariners’ announcer Rick Rizz and former Mariner outfielder Dave Henderson.  Car Clubs, individual racers and fans will all be headed to “The Place to Race” to take part in this worthwhile day.  The organizers of the event are looking forward to a fun filled day and filling the paddock area with more cars on display than previous years.  The cost is a new unwrapped toy or $5.00 donation per person.

The gates open at 10:00 AM and the day’s event runs until 3:00 PM.  This is a day that showcases the spirit that the racers and fans of the Pacific Northwest have to make sure every child has their day to celebrate.  The car clubs, racers and fans are coming out next Sunday not only to see the cars, vendor booths, food, and the rest of the day’s activities, but the most important reason of all to see that those children that are less fortunate have a Merry Christmas.  We’re all coming out, are you?  Need any more information, then check out www.pacific raceways.com.  See you there.
