History is Served with Coffee at Cedar Grange

Heidi Beck, D’Ann Tedford and Grange Master Terry Beckler are among those who assist in serving visitors at Cedar Grange Hall.

A quilt documenting the history of Maple Valley hangs on one wall at Cedar Grange Hall; an antique cash register accepts your payments.  Pleasant aromas and the sound of laughter greet guests at the door. Cedar Grange Hall was moved to its present location (alongside Maple Valley Highway) 105 years ago. Grange Master Terry Beckler can pass along more history while serving your coffee with conversation. He’s been chatting with customers since his early twenties, 50+ years.

Cedar Grange Hall is a meet-and-greet environment designed to connect neighbors, families, and business owners on the third Sunday of each month. Their next coffee time is Sunday, Apr. 21. Doors are open from 9:00 am until noon. Invite your neighbors and friends. Everyone in nearby communities are encouraged to drop in for coffee, hot chocolate, and orange juice along with an array of fruit, bagels, and breakfast burritos. Visitors can serve themselves, while staff gladly assists. The menu is $5.00; burritos are $3.00. Cedar Grange is a non-profit organization; all proceeds go back into the community. All are invited.
