This weekend April 26 and 28 the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts will be starting their 2024 racing season at Pacific Raceways on the 2.25 mile, 10 turn road course. Eleven Groups of racing machines will be on hand to conquer the premiere track. In Group 1 will be Vintage Pre-War to 1962 Production Cars. Group 2 will be Formula Vee and Formula JR machines; Group 3 consists of Vintage Small-Bore Production/Small SR-1963-73. There will also be Small, Mid and Large bore cars from the past, along with “Wings and Things” and the Formula Ford/Club Ford. There will be qualifying for all groups Saturday morning, with racing action Saturday and Sunday. The racing excitement all begins at 9:00 am. each day. Tickets are $10 for a one-day adult pass or $15 for the weekend. Children 12-17 are $5.00 per day, and the children under 12 get in free. Active military with proper ID your admission is free.
