This weekend May 17th -18th Pacific Raceways opens the 2024 Drag Racing Season with the 3rd Annual Full Blown Frenzy. This year being presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts. The legend of Northwest Drag Racing Jerry “the King” Ruth will preside as the Grand Marshall for the event. The two days of racing excitement will include vintage “Cackle Car” dragsters and roadsters along with NW Nostalgia, and the 348/409 cars. There will also be a “No-Box, Box” format style of racing. On top of that in action will be Funny Cars and Pro Mods. Can’t forget the “Warhawk” Jet Car. Not enough?
Then on Saturday there will be the all-impressive Car Show with displays for all to enjoy. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $25 per day. A Super Ticket for the two-day event is $45. Gates open both days at 10 AM with racing until 10PM under the lights. Should you want to be a part of the “good ol’ days of drag racing and relive those memories then this is your weekend.
