Puppet Presentation Ready For Museum Summertime

The Puppet Lady and Miss Slick Chick teach Binky the dog how to recycle.

A child visiting a museum is a good way to help fill the long hours of summer vacation. Black

Diamond’s museum on Railroad Avenue will be hosting two shows especially designed for kids.

The Puppet Lady is arriving on Wednesday, July 24 for two events on how to create puppets. The first is 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and the second is 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Each presentation is followed by time for children to gather at a table where they will get assistance in creating their own puppets. In addition, each child will be sent home with a bag of supplies so they can get creative at home.

The event and supplies are free.

Registration is limited to 15 children per session. Register at the museum’s website: Blackdiamondmuseum.org; click Events to then click on “Kids Events”. Under Kids Events, go to Puppet Making for Kids.
