August 19-2024 to September 1-2024

On 08/19/24, officers were dispatched to an in progress domestic assault at the 29500 block of 224th Ave SE. Officers located the involved parties and investigated the incident. Officers determined probable cause for the crime of assault 4 DV. Officers arrested the suspect and booked them into Enumclaw jail.

On 08/19/2024, at approximately 20:32 hours, officers were dispatched to the 22900 block of SE 288th ST. for suspicious circumstances. The reporting party advised that there was a vehicle parked near a residence and one of the doors had been open for the last few days. Officers arrived and found that the car was registered to a person in the neighborhood. There was no evidence of property damage to the vehicle. Officers closed the car door and departed the scene.

On 08/20/2024, at approximately 04:50 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop at the 24300 block of Roberts DR. Officers discovered that the driver’s license was Suspended/Revoked 3rd Degree. The driver was issued a criminal citation for DWLS 3rd Degree.

On 08/20/2024, at approximately 05:13 hours, officers were in the 24500 block of Morgan ST. when they observed two dogs in the street, one that had been recently struck by a vehicle. Officers attempted to locate the dogs’ owner(s) before transporting the dogs to a veterinary hospital. The dogs were treated and turned over to King County Animal Control. Officers were able to identify the owner and advised the owner of the dogs’ location.

On 08/20/2024, officers observed a traffic infraction at the 29000 block of 216th Ave SE. Officers initiated a traffic stop and discovered the driver had failed to transfer their vehicle’s title within 45 days of purchase. Officers issued the driver citations for the traffic offenses.

On 08/20/2024, officers were dispatched to suspicious subject at the 25300 block of Kanasket DR. Dispatch advised officers that the subject was associated with a green Toyota Prius. Officers contacted the subject, who advised that he worked for Blue Raven Solar company. Officers advised the subject of the BDMC restricting soliciting without a permit. The subject left the scene.

On 08/20/24 at approximately 2109 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 30400 block of 3rd Ave in reference to a fire assist. Mountain View Fire and Rescue Personnel was at the location with a patient who had fallen. Officers found the subject to require medical assistance only, the subject was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

On 08/21/2024, officers observed a traffic infraction at the 31500 block of 3rd Ave. Officers initiated a traffic stop and discovered the driver’s license was suspended in the 3rd degree. Officers issued the driver citations for the traffic offenses.

On 08/21/24, officers were dispatched to a boating accident assist at the 30400 block of 227th Pl. SE. Officers arrived on scene and met with fire personnel. They advised officers they had already contacted the home owner and observed no hazards from the electric powered boat. Officers observed the vessel which did not bare a registration number. It was secured to a dock, had taken on water, but was not at risk of sinking due to low water levels on the lake. Officers determined no police assistance was needed and cleared the scene.

On 08/21/2024, officers observed a large white and black pitbull walking into traffic at the 25700 block of Lawson St., then ran west bound. Officers located the animal and it’s owner that it had return to.

On 08/22/2024, at approximately 22:10 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop at the 32600 block of 3rd AVE. Officers discovered that the driver’s license was Suspended/Revoked 2nd Degree. The driver was booked into the Enumclaw Jail for DWLS 2nd Degree.

On 08/23/2024, an Officer was dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd Ave reference to an agency assist. Everett PD was out with a vehicle that fled from them and wanted an Officer to contact the vehicle’s registered owner to see if the vehicle was stolen.  Upon arrival, the Officer spoke with the registered owner and she advised that the vehicle had been sold two weeks ago. This information was forwarded to Everett PD.

On 08/23/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 32800 block of SE Cottonwood ST. in regard to a report of a 911 hang up in the area. Officers contacted a resident and determined that the call had been made accidentally by children, and that no assistance was required.

On 8/24/2024 at 0152 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department responded to a 911 hang up located at 31108 3rd Avenue. Through investigation, Officer’s were quickly able to locate the unit number that the subject lived in whose phone number called 911. Officer’s spoke to the subject who advised them that their phone was broken and would call emergency services, then presents a blank screen when attempting to end the call. The subject advised Officer’s that 911 services were not needed and cleared the scene.

On 08/24/2024, at approximately 21:15 hours, officers were dispatched to a suspicious subject in the 23800 block of Bruckners CT. The reporting party advised that there was an unknown subject attempting to use the keyless entry in order to enter their front door. Officers arrived on scene and conducted an area check for the subject. After speaking with several individuals in the area, officers were unable to locate the subject.

On 08/27/2024, Officers responded to the 31100 block of 3rd Avenue reference to a domestic in progress. Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and a suspect was arrested for Malicious Mischief 3 (DV) was booked into the Enumclaw Jail.

On 08/27/2024, officers were flagged down at the 26200 block of Lawson St. by a concerned citizen that had a passenger, they believed to be experiencing a medical emergency. Officers requested the fire department conduct a medical evaluation. The passenger of the vehicle refused to receive any medical evaluation or treatment from fire personnel.

On 8/27/2024 at 2053 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department responded to a 911 hang-up located near the 33500 block of Walnut Avenue SE. After speaking with several homes in the area and the dispatched address, Officers were able to locate the subject who called. The subject advised Officers that emergency services were not needed and the call was merely accidental. Officer’s cleared the scene.

On 8/28/2024 at 0008 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department responded to a citizen assist located at 30460 3rd Avenue, Free Up Storage. Officer’s were advised a subject was stuck inside the locked gate after moving items into their new storage unit. Officers arrived on scene and assisted the subject by unlocking the gate from the outside.

On 08/30/2024, at approximately 11:45 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 32200 block of 3rd AVE. Officers discovered that the driver’s license was Suspended/Revoked 3rd Degree. The driver was issued a criminal citation for DWLS 3rd Degree.

On 08/31/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 29400 block of 218th PL. SE in regard to a report of suspicious subjects walking in the area. Officers were unable to locate anyone matching the description given in the area.

On 8/30/2024 at 2021 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department responded by phone to a recent traffic complaint. The reporting party stated that he was cut off by a vehicle in a round a bout located at Lake Sawyer Rd. SE and Roberts Dr. The reporting party provided Officers with dash cam footage showing the incident. Officer’s observed no crime being committed and stated the incident would be documented.

On 09/01/2024, Officers were dispatched to suspicious activity in the 30400 block of 3rd AVE. It was reported a vehicle was seen with the door open, valuables inside, and no occupant. Officers responded to the scene and made contact with the driver of the vehicle. Officers confirmed she was OK and learned she was waiting to access her storage unit. Officers cleared the scene.

On 09/01/2024, Officers were dispatched to an agency assist in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE. Auburn Police requested Officers attempt to contact the registered owner of a vehicle to see if he needed to report his rear license plate as stolen. Officers made contact with the registered owner and learned the license plate had been stolen approximately 1 month ago in Renton. The registered owner did not report it stolen and has since been issued new license plates for his vehicle. Auburn Police were advised, this concludes Black Diamond Police involvement.

On 09/01/2024, at approximately 17:46 hours, officers were dispatched to the 32800 block of 3rd AVE for a disturbance. The reporting party advised that there were juveniles throwing apples at cars driving by. Officers responded to the area and contacted all involved parties. Officers discovered that no crime occurred.

On 09/01/2024, an Officer was dispatched to the 22800 block of SE 312th St. reference to a welfare check. Complainant advised dispatch that she was concerned for son’s safety. Upon arrival, the Officer contacted the complainant who advised that her son was okay and that he was on his way home in a taxi.
