Applications Now Open for Juried Community Art Festival
The Maple Valley Creative Arts Council (MVCAC) is now accepting applications for the Maple Valley Days Arts Festival, taking place June 12–14, 2026 at the scenic Lake Wilderness Lodge. This annual juried event invites artists and artisans from across the region to showcase and sell their work in a vibrant, community-centered setting.
The festival highlights a diverse range of artistic mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, and handcrafted goods. With strong attendance and a welcoming atmosphere, the event provides artists with an excellent opportunity to connect with art lovers, collectors, and fellow creatives.
New this year, the festival will feature a dedicated Textile Exhibition, offering a curated space to celebrate fiber arts such as quilting, weaving, and textile design. Textile artists are especially encouraged to apply.
Selected artists will have their work displayed throughout the three-day festival, with opportunities for sales and recognition. Awards will be presented as part of a VIP Opening Gala on Friday, June 12, where juried selections will be announced. All participating exhibitors will receive two complimentary tickets to attend the gala.
Organizers encourage early application, as space is limited and interest is high.
