On 07/21/24 at approximately 0039 hours, officers were completing a DUI Investigation in the 30400 block of 3rd Ave, when the male began to fight with officers and fled on foot. The subject was taken into custody nearby, and booked for DUI and Resisting Arrest.

On 08/05/2024, An Officer responded to the 32800 block of Madrona Ave SE reference to a parking complaint. The vehicle was parked along the roadway on Madrona Ave Se and had an expired registration over 45 days. The vehicle was removed by Royal Towing and was taken to their compound.

On 08/05/2024, Officers responded to a vehicle accident at the 23100 block of Lake Sawyer Rd SE. Investigation revealed that it was a single vehicle accident where a vehicle hit a deer/elk.

On 8/6/2024, an officer responded to the 33100 block of Ten Trails Parkway for a report of juveniles riding a dirt bike in the roadway. The officer located the juveniles and returned them home. The juveniles and their parents were educated on Washington State Law.

On 08/07/2024, an Officer was dispatched to a fraud at the 33400 block of Douglas Ave SE. The complaint advised that on 07/29/2024, a suspect obtained her Macy’s credit card information and used it to make on line purchases totaling $1,954.00. The complaint was able to provide some suspect information.

On 08/09/2024, officers were dispatched to take a theft report. The incident originated at the 33100 block of Holly Ave SE. Officers interviewed the reporting party, who advised that their contractor had violated their contract by not completing the agreed upon landscaping job. Officers advised the reporting party that this was a civil issue.

On 08/09/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 32000 block of Botts DR in regard to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked near a construction site. Officers located the vehicle, and subsequent investigation determined that it was stolen. A subject was detained, and later released at the scene, and the vehicle was impounded.

On 08/11/2024, an Officer responded to the 27400 block of SE Green River Gorge Rd reference to a welfare check. There was reported to be an elderly female injured and on the ground near the roadway at the above listed location. Upon arrival, the Officer located the female who already had people assisting her. Investigation revealed that the lady had been knocked to the ground when her dog abruptly pulled on its leash that the female was holding. Fire responded and transported the female to Covington Multicare Hospital.

On 08/11/2024, Officers were dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd Avenue reference suicidal subject. Complainant advised that her adult daughter was suicidal, had not been taking her medications and was not caring for her infant child. Upon arrival and investigating, it was determined that the adult daughter was a threat to herself and was taken to Covington Hospital on an involuntary mental health evaluation.
