Maple Valley Fire & Life Safety (MVFLS) held a reception on Thursday, November 17, to have the community meet the five candidates vying for the District’s Fire Chief position as current Chief Brad Doerflinger prepares to retire at the end of this year. Candidates include (L-R): David Bathke, Norman Seals, Paige Day, Steven Beer, and Aaron Tyerman. MVFLS Board of Commissioners will make a conditional offer of employment at a special Board meeting Tuesday, November 22.
