Person needed for Public Arts Commission

Maple Valley City Council currently has openings on the Public Arts Commission and invite you to apply for this rewarding and enjoyable service to your city. If you or someone you know would like to be considered for the Public Arts Commission, please apply today!

Boards and Commissions of the City of Maple Valley are charged with specialized tasks, which provide invaluable aid to City Council in making sound decisions for the benefit of the City and its residents. Public Arts Commissioners make recommendations to City Council on matters of the Arts within the community. The Public Arts Commission meets 6 times per year from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lake Wilderness Lodge with occasional special meetings and workshops.

Current openings include:

  • 1 person employed within the city limits of Maple Valley (not required to live within the city limits)
  • 2 students attending high school within the Tahoma School District to serve as Student Representatives

2 citizens residing within the city limits of Maple Valley to serve as Alternate Members

Please submit your application by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018.
