Mountain View Fire Is Looking For Fire Commissioner

Commissioner Mark Clayton, who has been a Commissioner for the District since 2013, submitted his resignation to the District at the regular Board of Fire Commissioners meeting December 13, 2016. The resignation became effective immediately. Commissioner Clayton thanked the members of the department and stated that he enjoyed his time with the District. Commissioner Clayton was presented a plaque from the District thanking him for his service to the Citizens.

The Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire Chief and members of the Department wish to thank Mr. Clayton for his service to the District and those the District protects, he has been an instrumental leader and highly respected by all members of the Department.

 

Mountain View Fire and Rescue is accepting resumes for the appointed position of Fire Commissioner, Position #5.

Applicants must be a registered voter and live within district boundaries. This appointed position will terminate upon the certification of the November 2017 Fire Commissioner Election.

Applications should contain a one page resume, one page indicating the applicant’s reason for wanting to serve, and proof of residence in the District and current voter registration in King County.
