SANTA’S HELPERS COME EARLY TO THE BLACK DIAMOND COMMUNITY CENTER

Editor, the VOICE:

T’is the season to give, and many have stepped up to help families who are clients at the Black Diamond Community Center’s Food Bank.  Families have been adopted by the Pythians, Bells Angels, Black Diamond Eagles, Black Diamond Historical Society, and Fire District 44, Union 3186.

Toys are coming in because of Giving Trees at the Black Diamond Library, The Loft Salon & Spa, St. Barbara’s Parish, and Lake Sawyer Store.  Money and food came from City of Black Diamond employees and Local Union 117, The Black Diamond Historical Society, Enumclaw Lions, Laurel Chapter No. 47, St. Barbara Church’s Circle of Joy, Lake Sawyer Community Club, many friends of Craig Goodwin, Enumclaw School District, Lake Sawyer Church, and so many more.

Turkeys and all the trimmings for holiday meals are still available.  Parents who filled out the applications will pick up their toys on December 18th.

Thank you, one and all, happy holidays to you.  So many of you have put smiles on our families’ faces.
