Vine Maple Place is a local non-profit organization utilizing an innovative approach to meet the needs of homeless families. Since 2005, Palmer Coking Coal has provided gift-wrapped “lumps of coal” to raise funds for local housing needs.
Lumps of coal were traditionally left in Christmas stockings of those who’d been naughty the previous year. Now you can have this gag gift for “free” when you stop by PCC located at 31407 Highway 169 in Black Diamond.
