45th Annual Lucas Oil Drag Race Series

The weekend of June 12-14 Pacific Raceways hosted the 45th Annual Lucas Oil Drag Race Series.  The event was without the fans as per requirements of the Health Protection Plan developed by track officials as “to allow for the re-opening of the track first for participant-only events and later for spectator events.”   Cars and teams came from in and around the Northwest for the weekend event.  Burn-outs and launches were the order of the day as drivers began their elimination rounds.  Congratulations to Greg Hehr of Ravensdale WA in his ’90 Camaro (not pictured) as he took home the win in the Super Gas class with a ET of 9.943 and speed of 106.38 MPH.  Should you need any information on the status of the season check out www.pacificraceways.com. Photo by Bill Archer
