Black Diamond Police Reports 6-8 to 14, 2020

On 06-08-2020, at approximately 0108 hours, officers responded to an agency assist with King County near the intersection of SE 272nd ST and SR 169 regarding a small fire set by two subjects that fled the area. An area check was conducted with negative results and officers cleared the call without incident.

On Monday, 06/08/2020 at approximately 0739 hours, Black Diamond Officers were doing a vacation check in the 21700 block of SE 294th ST. Officers contacted a subject that was sleeping on the front porch. Officers were able to identify the individual as the son of the home owner and upon their request, he was asked to leave the property. Home owner did not want the subject trespassed.

On Monday 06/08/2020, at approximately 1336 hours, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a burglary report in the 25400 block Palmer PL. The reporting party advised a tool and miscellaneous items were taken from their unlocked attached garage. There is no suspect information at this time.

On 06-11-2020, at approximately 07:25 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an unwanted subject at the Cenex Gas Station. Officers were informed that a white female was asked to leave and refused. While Officers were driving to the location, the female attempted to pay for a donut and the clerk refused to sell it to her. The female then walked out of the store with the donut. Upon arrival, Officers were informed that the female drove away, southbound on 3rd AVE.  Officers conducted an area check with negative results.

On Friday, 06/12/2020, Officers were dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a complaint of a party with possible minors consuming alcohol. Officers contacted the homeowner and determined that no minors were present. The homeowner agreed to reduce the noise.

On Saturday, 06/13/2020, Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 31108 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a noise complaint. Officers contacted the residents and they agreed to end the party. Officers explained the Black Diamond Municipal Code Noise Ordinance, and that it was chargeable as a misdemeanor crime.

On 6-13-2020, at approximately 1213 hours, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious activity. Officers contacted the reporting party by phone and she advised officers that at approximately 0220 hours a subject was seen on ring video attempting to open the door to her unoccupied residence in the 33100 block of Crystal AVE SE. The subject then walks away and can be seen shining a light into a vehicle in the area. Officers obtained the video footage and stored it appropriately. There is no crime at this time.

On 06-14-2020, at approximately 1919 hours, officers were dispatched to the area around the Black Diamond Cemetery for a suspicious person that had reportedly contacted juveniles and spoke to them inappropriately. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the subject. Officers spoke with the children and their guardians and advised them to call if they saw the subject again. Officers cleared the scene without incident.
