The City of Maple Valley regretfully announces the cancellation of the inaugural Ironman Triathlon scheduled for September 20, 2020 due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The event has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 19, 2021.
The City staff is grateful to the Ironman team and City Council for their support in bringing this event to Maple Valley and for the outstanding work that they have done in doing everything possible to host this race. The City is committed to the safety and well-being of everyone in the race community and has been following, and will continue to follow, the recommendations of public health agencies and local authorities. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.
