Black Diamond Police Reports Aug. 24 to 28, 2020

On 8/24/2020, an officer received a report of theft of firewood from a wooded area in the 33100 block of Abrams Ave. There are no suspects at this time.

On 8/24/2020, an officer responded to the 29000 block of 220 PL SE for a report of a subject removing an item from a delivery vehicle. The item was returned to the deliver driver and the driver declined to pursue charges against the suspect. The issue was the result of a parking dispute between the suspect and the delivery driver.

On 8/25/2020, an officer responded to the 22400 block of SE 300 ST for a report of CPR in progress. While the officer was enroute it was advised the patient had woken up and CPR was no longer in progress. The officer continued to the location and ensured the patient was awake and breathing prior to the Fire Department arriving

On 8/25/2020, an officer responded to the 30200 block of 224 AVE for an RV parked on private property. The driver was located and they were requested to leave the location. The driver was also issued a trespass notice so they could not return to the location.

On 08-26-2020, at approximately 2224 hours, officers were dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd AVE regarding unwanted subjects inside the fence line of their property and looking into vehicles. When officers arrived, they were unable to locate any subjects and found evidence of entry into the vehicles in the area. There was no suspect information available and officers cleared the call without incident

On 08-26-2020, at approximately 2246 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of SE Fir ST and Hemlock AVE regarding a juvenile problem. The reporting party advised that juveniles were in the park and talking about burning something. Officers arrived and found no juveniles in the area, but did put out a small controlled fire that was present. Officers cleared the call without incident.

On 08-28-2020, at approximately 15:02 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a traffic complaint.  Officers were informed that a traffic control flagger called 911 to report that an elderly male with gray hair drove around a stop paddle in the 21800 block of SE 289th ST. The elderly male was driving a tan SUV and was last seen driving north on SE 289th ST.  Officers conducted an area check for the vehicle with negative results.

On 8/28/2020, an officer responded to the 25200 block of Roberts Drive for a recklessly driven vehicle. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

On 8/28/2020, at about 2000 hours, Officers were dispatched and responded to the area of Birch AVE SE and SE Cottonwood ST regarding a white work van with two subjects driving around in the area and backing into multiple lots under construction. Officers conducted an extensive area check and did not locate the van.
