The weekend of June 11th -13th the 46th Annual LODRS (Lucas Oil Divisional Racing Series) came to Pacific Raceways for three days of all out drag racing action once again. The fans were back in the stands and the cars and drivers came from in and around the Northwest for the points chase to the Championship for 2021. Ryan Carlson of Maple Valley competed in the Top Dragster class. During the First Round of Eliminations Ryan launches from the starting line in his 2200 HP dragster. This Round he turned a 6.31 at 217.14 mph to take the win. In April of this year at the NHRA Four Wide Nationals in Las Vegas Ryan took home his first National Event “Wally” trophy winning his first Final Round. Adding to the achievement was the fact he was able to win in front of his family. Next for the team is a trip to the NHRA Sonoma Nationals and then on to the NHRA Pomona Winter Nationals at the end of July.
