Black Diamond Police Reports June 28 to July 4, 2021

On 6/28/2021, an officer was dispatched to the area of Roberts Drive and Lake Sawyer Road SE for an agressively driven vehicle. An area check was conducted but the vehicle was gone on arrival.

On 6/28/2021 an officer was contacted at the Lake Sawyer Boat Launch Park, located in the 22500 block of SE 296th Street for a theft of a boat trailer license plate. The report was taken and the license plate was entered into WACIC as stolen. No suspect information at this time.

On 06/30/2021 Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 30000 block of 232nd PL SE in regard to a report of a theft from a vehicle that had occurred overnight. There were no witnesses or surveillance video, and pending the development of suspect information, the case is being placed on inactive status.

On 06-30-21, at approximately 07:50 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an assist to the Black Diamond Fire Department. Officers were informed that a female called 911 and stated that she had a medical issue.  The female then refused to answer any questions from the call receiver.  Officers arrived at the residence with the Black Diamond Fire Department and found that a male subject was having seizures from detoxing from alcohol. The subject was transported by the King County Medics to Auburn General Hospital.

On 06/30/2021, officers responded to the 22300 block of SE 290th regarding an an animal complaint. The reporting party advised that a bear was walking through the neighborhood. Officers located the bear, but services declined to come and secure it. The bear left the area and officers cleared the call without incident.

On 06/30/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 23500 block of SE 299th ST in regard to a report of fireworks. Officers conducted an area check and were unable to locate anyone discharging fireworks.

On 07-01-21, at approximately 08:03 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a theft of wood from a residence under construction in the 33200 block of Evergreen AVE SE. Officers contacted the project manager who stated sometime between 15:00 hours on 06-24-21 and 15:00 hours on 06-30-21, someone stole 104 2X6’s and 142 4X8 sheets of plywood that were on the ground in front of two houses being built. The total loss is estimated at $15,500.00. There is no suspect information.

On 7/1/2021, an officer was dispatched to the 22400 SE 288TH ST. regarding a hit and run to mailboxes. The incident was reported to have occurred between 1330 hours and 1530 hours today. At this point there are no suspects or leads for this case. This case is considered inactive pending new leads.

On 7/4/2021, officers were dispatched inside the Ten Trails development for a suspicious person pushing a shopping cart. Contact was made with the subject who required water and directions to Auburn. The subject agreed to leave Ten Trails without incident.

On 07/04/2021, an Officer was dispatched to the 32500 block of Railroad Ave reference to a fireworks complaint. Upon arrival the problem was resolved.

On 07/04/2021, an Officer was dispatched to to the 23201 block of Roberts Dr, reference to a fireworks complaint in Ten Trails at the Park. Upon arrival, nobody was found in the area lighting off fireworks.
