BLACK DIAMOND Police Reports

On 3/29/2022 Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 32000 block of SE Mountain View Dr. A caller advised a an unknown female was seen outside his home, looking around his yard with a flashlight. He advised after he confronted the female, she possibly left in a vehicle. Officers arrived and observed a possible vehicle turning around in a nearby driveway. Officers contacted the vehicle and the subjects claimed to be looking for an item they had seen posted on Facebook for free. They could not show proof of the item nor what address claimed to have posted the item. The subjects were identified, advised not to trespass, and released.

On 03-30-22, at approximately 12:59 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a traffic complaint. Officers were informed that the reporting person who resides in the 29600 block of 232nd AVE SE wanted contact to report that he had a verbal confrontation with the driver of a vehicle he claimed was speeding. Officers contacted the reporting person who stated that a vehicle was speeding behind his vehicle on 232nd AVE SE. He confronted the driver about his speed and the driver extended his middle finger and drove away.  Officers located this driver who stated that he was not speeding and the reporting person continued to yell at him about his speed. Officers cleared the scene.

On 03/31/2022, an Officer was dispatched to an OSA at the 25500 block of Lawson St. The Officer provided information to the outside agency as requested.

On 4//1/2022, Officers took a theft report from an individual residing in the 24400 block of Terrace PL. They reported sometime between December and now the catalytic converter from their motor-home had been stolen. There is no suspect info or investigative leads at this time.

On 4/2/2022, Officers were dispatched to a non-injury collision in the 32600 block of 3rd AVE. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed neither party required medical treatment. Officers completed an exchange of information for the involved drivers, photographed the vehicles, and provided instructions to the drivers for reporting the incident to their insurance companies. Both vehicles were operable and the drivers cleared the scene after officers had obtained the required information for the collision report. Neither driver was cited for a traffic violation as this occurred on private property.

On 4/2/2022, officers responded to the 32600 Railroad Ave for a dispute. Officers contacted both parties and determined the issue was civil in nature. The officers provided advice to the parties on how to handle the issue.

On 04/05/2022, an Officer was dispatched to a theft at the 29000 block of 216th Ave SE.  It was found that a juvenile suspect committed a theft at that location.  The suspect was located and identified and criminal charges will be filed in Juvenile Court.

On 04-05-21, at approximately 14:27 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a two vehicle collision at 29020 216th AVE SE. Officers arrived at the scene and conducted a collision investigation. One of the driver’s was transported to the hospital for neck pain. The other driver was issued a notice of infraction for following too closely.

On 04/07/2022, an Officer was dispatched to a warrant confirmation at the 25500 block of Lawson St.  The warrant was confirmed and the arrested subject was booked into the Enumclaw Jail.

On 4/8/22 at bout 0040 hours, an Officer was conducting a business check in 30700 block of 3RD AVE and observed a suspicious vehicle leaving the rear of a closed business. As the Officer began checking the business a loud noise was heard from the opposite side of where the officer was. The officer went to the area of the noise and located an open warehouse door. The building was cleared and no suspects were located. The key-holder responded and advised nothing appeared to be missing and he feels suspect/s may have been interrupted before any items could be taken.
