Cedar Grange Hall Offers Tasty Treats with Coffee, Juice

Terry Beckler serves coffee at Cedar Grange.

Meeting former Tahoma High classmates, visiting with neighbors, or simply chatting with friends who also enjoy coffee, donuts and fruit. Those circumstances can add up to the best time you’ve had in a month. Catching up and laughing. It’s all a part of the offering at Cedar Grange Hall.

Families are encouraged to drop into Cedar Grange for special treats and coffee from 9:00 am until noon on the third Sunday of each month. The menu is $5.00; they recently added breakfast burritos for an additional $3.00.

The aroma of coffee and hot chocolate and the array of fruit and doughnuts offer both a healthy and tempting morning. Grange Master Terry Beckler is the primary host at the Sunday event. He said that the community’s response to the $5.00 menu is increasing and that Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church has opted out of their in-house coffee time; instead, families are encouraged to head downhill to Cedar Grange, the community service organization.

The Grange is hoping to stir up interest in meeting and greeting again, similar to the past at their traditional pancake breakfast. They encourage Maple Valley old timers, those new to the community, business owners and, of course, those just driving by to “please drop in.”

Cedar Grange a super friendly place whose proceeds go back into the community. The Grange serves as a meeting venue for several organizations including scouts, dancing, AA and NA, and Back Country Horsemen. It is also available for family events like graduation parties, birthdays, weddings, baby showers.
