On 1/24/2026 at 2015 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department responded to a party complaint near the 29000 block of 216th Avenue SE. Officer’s contacted the host of the party and advised them of the Black Diamond Municipal Code noise ordinance. The host agreed to turn the music down and Officer’s cleared the call.

On 01/25/2026, Officers were dispatched to accident with unknown injuries in the 30700 block on 3rd Ave. Officer filled out and completed and exchange of information while the fire department evaluated both drivers for injuries. Both drivers that were involved were able to driver way from the scene with no apparent injuries.

On 01/25/2026 Officers stopped a vehicle in the 26200 block of Lawson ST for a speed violation. A DOL records check showed the driver had a license status of Suspended in the 3rd Degree. The driver was cited and released at the scene.

On 01/25/2026 Officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 30200 block of 224th AVE SE in regard to a report of an individual making suicidal threats. Officers contacted the individual, who was subsequently transported to a medical facility for a mental health evaluation without incident.

On 01/26/2026, Officers were dispatched to the 31500 block on 3rd Ave for a welfare check. Officers were able to contact the subject and there son who informed Officers that there mother had dementia. The subjects son was able to transport them home.

On 01/26/2026, officers observed a traffic violation at the 23600 block of SE 288th St. Officers initiated a traffic stop and contacted the driver, who officers discovered was driving with a suspended drivers license. Officers issued the driver citations for the offenses.

On 01/26/26, officers observed a traffic violation at the 31100 block of 3rd Ave. Officers initiated a traffic stop and discovered that the driver’s vehicle had a cancelled title. Officers issued the driver with a criminal citation for the offense.

On 01/26/2026, an Officer was at the 25300 block of Baker Street (Black Diamond Elementary) when he was approached by the schools principal. The Principal advised that the student had brought a plastic toy gun to school and that she was going to contact the child’s parents.

On 01/27/2026, Officers were dispatched to a death investigation at the 30400 block of Blaine Ave. After investigation, The deceased was released to a funeral home.

On 01/28/26, officers observed a suspicious vehicle stopped off the roadway and stuck in gravel. Officers contacted the driver who was asleep in the drivers seat. Officers investigated the incident and established probable cause for the crime of DUI. Officers arrested and booked the suspect for the offense.

On 01/28/2026, an Officer responded to the Black Diamond Elementary (25300 block of Baker St) reference to a suspicious incident. The principal advised that today a student brought a plastic toy gun to school. The gun was confiscated and the student will be suspended for this incident.

On 01/28/2026, An Officer responded to the Black Diamond Courtroom (25500 block of Lawson St) reference to a subject being remanded by the court. The Officer Transported the remanded subject to the Enumclaw jail were he was booked
