3-22 to 3-29, 2026

On 03/22/2026, officers on viewed a mortally wounded deer on the side of the roadway of the 30800 block of 228th Ave SE. Officers euthanized the deer and notified public works to remove the remains.

On 03/23/2026, an officer responded to the 25500 block of Lawson Street reference to a suspicious circumstances. The complainant advised that there was a person living with her former mother-in-law and that she suspected that this person was taking advantage of her former mother-in-law. Contact was made with the mother-in-law and she denied the allegations.

On 03/25/2026, Officers were dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd AVE for a juvenile problem. There was a reported verbal dispute between the juvenile and her grandmother. Officers arrived on scene and de-escalated the situation. Officers facilitated a resolution between the two individuals, it was determined the juvenile would take a rideshare from the location to her mothers.

On 03/27/2026, a vehicle accident took place at the 23600 block of Roberts Drive. A BDPD vehicle was parked at that location when a Black Diamond Public works vehicle accidentally hit the BDPD vehicle while it was traveling west on Roberts Dr.  The BDPD vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s side mirror.

On 2/27/2026, officers responded to the 31200 block of 228 AVE SE for a report of a possible DUI vehicle. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate it.

On 3/27/2026, officers responded to the 23300 block of Roberts Dr for a report of two e-bikes being operated in an illegal manner. Officers located the e-bikes and found they were being operated legally and safely.

On 03/28/2026, Officer were dispatched to the 22800 block on SE FIR ST for a Fraud report. Officers are still currently investigating.

On 03/28/2026, Officers were dispatched to the cross street of SE Dogwood ST and Ten Trails PKWY SE for a traffic complaint of someone riding a dirt bike with what appeared to be a alcohol bottle in there hand. Officers conducted a area check of neighbor hood and the surroundings streets but were unable to locate the suspect.

On 03/28/2026, officers were dispatched to a physical assault at the 22000 block of SE 296th St. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the involved parties. The reporting party was a caretaker for a developmentally disabled client who had experienced a manic episode which resulted in the caretaker sustaining a minor injury. The caretaker was medically evaluated and their client was transported to the hospital for an involuntary mental health evaluation.

On 03/29/2026, officers were dispatched to a welfare check at the 22800 block of SE Fir St. Dispatch advised that the reporting party had received text messages from their friend that they had interpreted as them possibly being suicidal. Officers contacted the subject who advised they had no intention of harming themselves and advised that their messages were misinterpreted, and they required no police assistance.
