5-13 to 5-23-2026

On 05/13/2026, Officers contacted a vehicle with suspicion of the driver possible being under the influence at the cross streets of Pinnacle Ave and Emerald ST. Officer were able to identify the driver and determine they were not under the influence.

On 05/13/2026, officers were dispatched to a suspicious subject at the 25300 block of Kanasket Dr. Officers were advised that a unknown male subject was walking door to door to houses in the neighborhood. Officers located and contacted the subject who advised officers that they were attempting to contact residents to raise awareness about religion. Officers determined no crime had been committed

On 05-14-26, at approximately 15:00 hours, an Officer attempted to park a patrol vehicle at the Black Diamond City Shops and struck the rear driver’s side quarter panel against a metal pole. A small 6 inch scratch resulted from the quarter panel rubbing on the metal pole.

On 05/22/2026 at approximately 13:50 hours Officers responded to the 31100 block of 3rd Ave, Black Diamond, Washington for a Welfare check on an individual. The individual spoke to officers via Phone and in person. The Officers confirmed the individual was okay.

On 5/23/2026 at 1216 hours, Officer’s responded to a suspicious activity report at a vacant house near the 32500 block of Miner St. A nearby neighbor stated they observed a large amount of flies in the windows. Officer’s contacted the property owner and conducted a walk through of the property.

On 5/23/2026 at 1614 hours, Officer’s responded to a traffic complaint near the 23100 block of Evergreen Avenue Se. It was reported that several motorcycles were seen speeding, doing tricks, and not wearing helmets. Officer’s were later advised the subjects were believed to be juveniles on e-bikes. Upon checking the area the only subjects with e-assist bicycles were observed walking their bikes, were wearing helmets, and were off the road.
