Black Diamond Police Reports

On 05/01/2026, Officers were dispatched to the 25500 block on Lawson ST. for a welfare check. Officers contacted the reporting party who were requesting the police to conduct a welfare check for a family member. Officers found out that the family’s member listed address was not in Black Diamond and advised the reporting party to contact King County Sheriffs Office.

On 05/01/2026, Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle in the 22400 block on SE 296th ST. Officers contacted the driver who did not have a valid drivers license. The subject was able to contact a family member to pick them up along with the vehicle. Officers then cleared the scene.

On 05/02/2026, an Officer responded to the 25500 block of Lawson Street reference to a traffic complaint. Complainant advised that there was a vehicle passing other vehicles on 3rd Ave and that the vehicle was last seen eastbound on Lawson St. Upon arrival, the Officer searched the area and the vehicle was not located.

On 05/02/2026, officers were dispatched to a complaint of an erratic driver at the 31700 block of 3rd Ave. Officers conducted an area check with negative results.

On 5/3/2026 at 0803 hours, Officer’s responded to a suspicious vehicle located near the 33100 block of Evergreen Avenue SE. It was reported that an occupied parked vehicle was taking photos of nearby houses and vehicles as they drove by. Officer’s contacted the occupant who stated they worked for a landscaping business and were waiting for the remainder of the employees to arrive to provide a related service.

On 5/3/2026 at 1324 hours, Officer’s responded to a parking complaint near the intersection of Se 295th PL. and Se 296th St. It was reported a vehicle was seen parked in a clearly marked ‘no parking’ zone. Officers located the vehicle and issued an infraction for the violation.

On 05/03/2026 at approximately 1639 hours, officers were dispatched to the 22000 block of SE 296th Street, in reference to an assault which just occurred. Officers conducted an investigation, taking a subject into custody without issue. The subject was booked into a correctional facility without issue.
