Black Diamond Police Reports

On 04/20/2026, a passerby notified officers of a vehicle that was stuck in a ditch at the 32800 block of 3rd Ave. Officers located the unoccupied vehicle and observed empty alcoholic beverages inside. Officers conducted an area check for the driver with negative results and impounded the vehicle.

On 04/20/2026, Officer were dispatched to a residential burglary report located in the 33300 block on Evergreen Ave SE. Officer contacted the victim and found that no crime had occurred. Officer documented a information report.

On 04/20/2026 an Officer contacted a complainant at the 25500 block of Lawson St reference to a fraud.  The complainant advised that an unknown suspect used Zelle to transfer $600.00 out of his bank account.  The suspect also attempted to use his account to purchase two $150.00 gift cards.

On 04/21/2026, the reporting party contacted the Black Diamond Police Department to report a theft which had occurred on 04/18/2026 from her home. A wallet and silver handled magnifying glass were reported as stolen. On 04/27/2026, Officers were contacted by the reporting party. Officers learned the items reported stolen had been found. However, cash from the wallet was missing. There is no suspect information and this case will be closed pending new investigative leads.

On 04/21/2026, officers observed a traffic offense at the 31100 block of 3rd Ave. Officers initiated a traffic stop and contacted the vehicle and discovered that the vehicle’s title status was cancelled. Officers issued the driver with a criminal citation for the offense.

On 4/22/26 at 2317 hours, Officer’s were dispatched to an Agency Assist near the 29800 block of 232nd Avenue SE. Morton Police Department was out with a snowmobile and wanted Black Diamond to check with the registered owner to see if they knew where their property was. Officer’s were unable to locate the owner and forwarded the information available to Morton PD.

On 4/23/2026 at 0139 hours, Officer’s located a disabled vehicle at the intersection of Se 296th St and 219th Avenue SE. Officer’s were advised the vehicle was unable to move and needed to be towed. Officer’s called for a private impound and the vehicle was soon removed from the road and no longer blocking.

On 4/23/2026 at 0342 hours, Officer’s were advised that an adult male left their care facility on foot and was unable to be located, near the 22000 block of Se 296th St. Officer’s were soon updated that the male was located and no longer missing. Officer’s spoke with the male and caregiver and were advised Police assistance was no longer needed.

On 4/23/2026 at 2022 hours, Officer’s were advised of a parking complaint near the 33300 block of Liberty Avenue SE. Upon contacting the reporting party, Officer’s were advised the vehicle had since been moved and no enforcement was needed at this time

On 4/23/2026 at 2031 hours, Officer’s responded to a 911 hang up near the 29600 block of 232nd Avenue SE. Upon arriving, Officer’s were advised the 911 call was accidental and Police services were not needed. Officer’s cleared the call.

On 04/23/2026 at approximately 2050 hours, officers were dispatched to the 31000 block of 3rd Ave, in reference to a juvenile yelling and breaking items at the location and then leaving the residence. Officers located the juvenile and through investigation found they were off their medication and unable to care for their self. The juvenile was transported to a medical facility for assessment

On 4/24/2026 at 0128 hours, Officer’s were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance near the 30400 block of 3rd Avenue. It was reported a loud noise was heard at the front door of the dispatched address and it was unknown what caused it. Officer’s conducted a check and were unable to locate the source of the noise.

On 04/24/2026, Officers were dispatched to the 34100 block on Buckeye Ave SE for a unwanted subject. Once officer arrived on scene the subjects were no longer there. After talking to witnesses officers opened up an assault investigation.
