5-8 to 5-10, 2026
On 05/08/2026, Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle located in the 31200 block on 3rd Ave. Officers contacted the subject who was sleeping in vehicle and were able to identify them. Officers allowed the subject to stay there for the night but advised them to leave in the morning.

On 05-08-26, at approximately 06:43 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a welfare check. Officers were informed that a gold Chrysler Town Car was parked in the middle of roadway at 32904 Cedar Ave. SE. Officers arrived and found that the driver had ran out of fuel. Officers provided the driver with five gallons of fuel and the subject drove away from the scene.

On 5/8/2026 at 0959 hours, Officer’s were advised of a subject at the Police Department wanting to report a previous traffic complaint. After speaking with the subject, it was determined the incident did not occur within city limits and advised the subject to contact Washington State Patrol.

On 5/8/2026 at 1143 hours, Officer’s were advised of a civil issue that had occurred near the 30800 block of 3rd Avenue. Officer’s took an informational report and determined no crime had occurred at this time.

On 5/8/2026 at 1241 hours, Officer’s were dispatched to a residential burglary report. Officer’s were advised that an unknown and unwanted subject entered the reporting party’s home while he and family members were sleeping and stole several items. This case is still under investigation.

On 05/08/2026 at approximately 20:32 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd Ave. for a report of a verbal dispute. Upon arrival Officers spoke to the reporting party who said a verbal dispute had occurred but that it was only verbal. Officers found that no crime had been committed.

On 05/08/2026, Officers contacted two vehicles in the 31500 block on Lake Sawyer Rd. SE. Officers contacted the subjects on one vehicle and advised them of the park hours and asked them to leave. The subjects left with out issue. The other vehicle was unoccupied and Officers were unable to locate the owner.

On 5/9/2026, an officer received a report of a vehicle that was stolen from the 31100 block of 3rd Ave. The vehicle was located and recovered in Hobart.

On 5/9/2026, an officer responded to the 33100 block of Pacific St. for a report of loud music. The officer contacted the resident who agreed to turn down the music.

On 05/09/2026, Officers were dispatched to a boating accident located on Lake Sawyer. Officers arrived on scene and found a local citizen who help the subjects involved tow their boat back to the boat launch. All subject who were involved in the accident sustained no injures and were able to walk away from the scene.

On 05/10/2026, Officers were dispatched to the 33100 block for verbal domestic violence. Officers spoke to both parties involved and were able to determine no crime had occurred. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.

On 5/10/2026 at 1004 hours, Officer’s were dispatched to a traffic complaint near the intersection of Morgan Dr. and Roberts Dr. It was reported that a vehicle was seen driving erratically and swerving into oncoming traffic. Officer’s conducted an area check and were unable to locate the vehicle.
