Black Diamond Police Repots 12-30-9-19 too Jan. 5, 2020

On 12/30/2019 an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Roberts Drive and Morgan Street. The driver of the vehicle was found to be suspended 3rd degree. The driver was issued a criminal citation and released at the scene. A licensed driver arrived to take custody of the vehicle.

On 12/30/2019 an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the parking lot of the Cenex gas station on 3rd Avenue. The driver was found to be driving while license suspended 3rd degree, and wanted for multiple arrest warrants. The suspected was arrested on a confirmed Pacific warrant and was booked directly into the Enumclaw Jail. The suspect was cited for DWLS 3rd and released on the Black Diamond charge. The vehicle was impounded to Royal Towing.

On 12-30-2019, at approximately 2116 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 28200 block of 216th AVE SE. Upon investigation, the driver was determined to be under the influence of marijuana. A warrant for her blood was secured and she was booked into Enumclaw Jail.

On 12-31-19 and 01-01-20, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to multiple fireworks complaints throughout the city. Officers located subjects in the Morgan Creek Development setting off fireworks. The subjects were advised of the municipal code and ceased their activity. In all other complaints regarding fireworks the source was unable to be located.

On 01-01-2020, at approximately 2255 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 22100 block of SE 296th ST. Investigation revealed that the driver’s driving status was suspended in the 3rd degree. The driver was cited and released and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

On 1/2/2020 an officer was dispatched to the 31600 block of 3rd Avenue for a two-car motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries, and both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. The at-fault driver was cited for inattentive driving.

On 01-03-2020, at approximately 0520 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 32100 block of Union DR for a report of suspicious activity. The reporting party advised that someone had rummaged through his vehicle during the previous night at some point. Nothing was taken. Another resident of the home later reported hearing sounds of metal clanking outside the same residence. Officers did not locate any suspects or damage. Officer cleared the scene without incident.

On Friday, 01/03/2020 Officers were dispatched to confirm an arrest warrant out of the Black Diamond Municipal Court. Officers confirmed the warrant and the subject was transported to the Enumclaw Jail for booking

On 01-03-20, at approximately 14:12 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a road hazard at 31600 3rd AVE. Officers were informed that the Washington State Patrol called to report that there were pieces of wood on the roadway. Officers arrived and found that the wood was no longer there.

On 1/3/2020, an officer received a phone report of a theft from mailbox that occurred in the 30400 block of 225 AVE SE. There are no suspects or leads.

On 01/04/2020,at about 1318 hours, an Officer took a phone report regarding a suspicious circumstance that occurred at a business in the 32600 block of 3rd AVE. It was reported that a customer made references about possibly being a law enforcement officer. The investigation determined that he was not, and that no crime occurred.

On 01-04-20, at approximately 2053 hours, Black Diamond Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 25100 block of Roberts DR. Officers confirmed the driver’s driving status was suspended/revoked 3rd and issued a criminal citation. The vehicle was released to a licensed passenger and the waiver was signed by the driver. Officers cleared the traffic stop without incident.

On 1-5-20, at approximately 0410 hours, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to an agency assist for Enumclaw Police Department for a possible burglary in the 3500 block of Elmont AVE. Black Diamond Officers arrived on scene and made contact with Enumclaw Officers. Officers approached the building and discovered a door had been pried but was not able to be opened. Officers checked the building’s entry points and found no signs of entry. Black Diamond Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 01/05/20, at about 1546 hours, an officer was dispatched and responded to the area of Lake Sawyer Grocery Store regarding fireworks. The officer did not locate the source of the fireworks. The reporting party was contacted for more information,but he mumbled on the phone and hung up on the officer twice.

On 1/5/2020 officers responded to the 29000 block of 220 PL SE for a report of a delivery driver entering the backyard of a residence. Officers were able to locate the delivery driver who provided proof he was instructed to make the delivery to the back of the residence.
