Black Diamond Police Reports 4-13-19, 2020

On 4/13/2020, an officer responded to the 1100 block of Pioneer Street in Enumclaw for an agency assist. A Black Diamond Officer stood by while Enumclaw Police investigated and involuntarily committed a subject to the hospital.

On 4/13/2020, an officer received a report of a deceased bald eagle in the 23600 block of Roberts Drive. The officer retrieved the deceased animal which was turned over to Feather Haven Avian Rescue in Enumclaw for proper handling.

On 04-14-2020, at approximately 10:30 hours, Officers received a call regarding suspicious stickers on street signs in front of the Black Diamond Antique Store (32709 Railroad AVE). Officers located a “Patriot Front” sticker on a No Parking Sign and on a Handicapped Parking sign. Black Diamond Public Works were notified to remove the two stickers.

On 04-14-2020, at approximately 11:42 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a suspicious person walking north on Botts DR towards Lawson ST. Officers were advised that a neighbor called 911 to report that she did not recognize the white male subject and thought it was suspicious that he was walking while wearing an orange traffic vest. Officers conducted an area check for the subject with negative results.

On 4/15/2020 an officer was dispatched to a verbal domestic dispute, with parties seperated, in the 24400 block of SE 300th Street. The male half had walked away from the residence, and the female was worried about him. No crime occurred. An area check was conducted but the male half was never located.

On 04-15-2020, at approximately 09:38 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a traffic complaint. Officers were informed that vehicles were speeding through Greenbrier due to SE 288th ST being closed for road construction. Officers conducted an area check through the neighborhood and did not find any vehicles speeding.

On 4/15/2020 an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the parking lot of the Cenex gas station, located in the 32600 block of 3rd AVE. The vehicle was found to have two different license plates attached, with neither of those plates belonging on the vehicle. The driver was cited and released for driving while license suspended 3rd degree, and the vehicle was towed from the scene by Royal Towing.

On 04-17-2020, at approximately 07:04 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a two vehicle traffic collision at 31108 3rd AVE. Officers arrived and found the two vehicles involved in the collision. A traffic collision report was completed.

On 04-17-2020, at approximately 11:30 hours, Officers received a telephone call from Chief Kiblinger stating that there was an abandoned silver Mazda in the 32100 block of 2nd AVE.  Officers located the unoccupied vehicle that was stuck in the mud.  Due to the fact that the vehicle was on City of Black Diamond property, it was impounded by Royal Towing of Black Diamond.

On 4/19/2020, Officers responded to the 23500 block of SE 305 ST for a report of a 911 hangup. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the caller. An officer was able to contact the subject by phone who advised he did not need police assistance.

On Sunday, April 19, 2020, at about 1007 hours, an officer was dispatched to a phone report regarding theft of vehicle license plates. The theft occurred in the 32700 block of Willow AVE SE in the Ten Trails development. At this time, this has will be placed as inactive due to the lack of investigative leads.

On Sunday, 04/19/2020, Officers were dispatched to the 32300 block of SE 312th ST in regard to a report of a parking problem. Upon arrival, Officers discovered several vehicles parked in a no parking zone. The vehicles were cited for violation of Black Diamond Municipal Code.

On 4/19/2020, an officer responded to the 23600 block of Roberts Drive for a report of multiple vehicles driving at a high rate of speed. The officer checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicles.

On 4/19/2020, an officer responded to the 25400 block of Kanaskat Dr for a report of a juvenile driving a go-cart in the roadway. The officer found the go-cart was no longer on the roadway when he arrived.

On 4/19/2020, an officer was dispatched for an information exchange with another police agency providing information on a subject living within the City of Black Diamond.

On 4/19/2020, officers responded to the 28900 block of 218 AVE SE for a loud disturbance. Officers arrived in the area and contacted a subject who denied any loud disturbance occurred.

On 4/19/2020, officers responded to the 29000 block of 216 AVE SE for a welfare check on a subject yelling. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the subject.
