Black Diamond Police Reports from Sept. 15 to 20, 2020.

On Monday, 09/14/2020, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 31500 block of 3rd AVE for a speed violation. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver had a license status of suspended. The vehicle was impounded and the driver cited and released at the scene.

In Monday, 09/14/2020, Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Union DR in regard to a request for a check on a possible fire. Officers were able to make entry to the residence and remove the burning items and a dog prior to the arrival of the homeowner.

On 9-15-2020, At approximately 1748 hours, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a missing person report. I contacted the missing person’s mother by phone and learned she was monitoring the location of his phone in real time. His phone showed he was at Passage Point in Maple Valley, WA. After speaking with Passage Point staff Officers learned the missing person had been located by his brother at that location. Officers contacted his brother and confirmed the missing person had physically been located and police services were needed no longer.

On 09-15-2020, at approximately 1952 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon investigation, it was found that the driver of the vehicle had a misdemeanor warrant out of King County Sheriff’s Office. The subject was arrested for his warrant and transported to Kent Jail by King County Sheriff’s Office. Officer cleared the call without incident.

On 9-15-2020, at approximately 2350 hours, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a physical domestic in the 24400 Block of Terrace PL. Officers arrived on scene and established probable cause to arrest the suspect for Malicious Mischief 3rd Degree Domestic Violence. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Enumclaw Jail.

On 9/16/2020 officers were dispatched to an injury accident in the 24800 block of Morgan Street. The Fire Department was called to evalute neck and back pain with neither driver being transported to the hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and the at-fault driver was cited for inattentive driving.

On 09-18-2020, at approximately 06:00 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a two vehicle collision at Baker ST and 3rd AVE.  Officers arrived and found two vehicles that were involved in a collision at that location. Both drivers were uninjured and one of the driver’s was issued a notice of infraction for following too close, no valid operator’s license and no proof of motor vehicle insurance. Both vehicles were towed from the scene

On 9/17/2020 an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a registration violation. The driver was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant, as well as driving with a suspended driver’s license and failure to transfer title w/in 45 days. The driver was booked on the felony warrant at SCORE Jail. The vehicle was impounded by Royal Towing.

On 9/18/2020 an officer was advised of a warrant subject that the Maple Valley Police had in custody. The warrant was confirmed and MVPD transported the suspect to the Black Diamond Police Department. The suspect was then transferred to the Issaquah Jail where she was booked for her warrant

On Sunday, 09/20/2020, Officers were dispatched to the 21900 block of SE 288th in regard to a request for a welfare check after a person was heard calling for help. It was determined that an individual had injured themselves in a back yard, and Officers assisted Fire personnel while they evaluated and transported the individual for medical care.
