Black Diamond Police Reports 12-14 to 19, 2020

On 12/14/2020, an Officer was dispatched to a burglary at the 32700 block Ash Ave SE. There was no forced entry, uninstalled cabinets were stolen from the garage and there are no suspects or witnesses.

On 12/14/2020, Officers were dispatched to a welfare check in the 32600 block of 3rd AVE. The reporting party was concerned about the welfare of her father due to being unable to reach him by phone for the past two days. Officers went to the residence and noticed everything appeared to be locked up and no one was home. A local business owner saw officers at the residence and advised them the homeowner was in the hospital. Officers relayed this information to the reporting party.

On 12/16/2020, an Officer responded to the 30200 block of 224th Ave SE regarding a no contact order violation. It was determined that the order was 

violated and a criminal citation was issued.

On 12/16/2020, an officer responded to the 26400 block of SE Green River Gorge Road for a report of a blocking disabled vehicle. The officer arrived on scene and found a vehicle had lost a tire and was waiting on a tow truck. The officer provided traffic control while waiting for the tow truck and while the vehicle was being loaded.

On 12/17/2020, officers responded to the 31500 block of 3rd Ave for a Welfare Check that turned into a report of CPR in progress. Officers arrived on scene and determined CPR was not needed and assisted the patient until the Fire Department arrived and took over care. The patient was transported from the scene by the Fire Department.

On 12/17/2020 officers were dispatched to an order violation occuring in the 25000 block of Morgan Street. Officers arrived and arrested a female for violation of a DV no contact order. The suspect was booked into the Enumclaw Jail.

On 12/18/2020, an officer responded to the 25300 block of Baker St for a report of juveniles skateboarding in an area where a business did not allow skateboarding. The officer requested the juveniles find another place to ride and they moved along.

On 12/19/2020, officers took a phone report regarding a loose animal complaint. Officers made contact with the owner and he was advised of the municipal code regarding off-leash pets. The owner advised that he would be finding the dog a new home in the near future and work on keeping the dog on his property in the meantime. Officers cleared the call without incident.

On 12/19/2020 an officer contacted a disabled vehicle in the 30400 block of 3rd Avenue. The passenger of the vehicle was identified and found to have an outstanding warrant out for his arrest issued by Federal Way PD. The warrant was confirmed and the suspect was transported to the Kent Jail where he was booked into the facility. No local charges pending.

On 12/19/2020, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 29700 block of 224th AVE SE for expired registration. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver had a license status of Suspended in the Third Degree, and the vehicle was displaying a counterfeit Trip Permit. The driver was cited and released at the scene and the vehicle impounded.

ON 12/19/2020, officers responded to the 200 block of Peterson DR E in Enumclaw to provide support for a DUI collision. The suspect was arrested and officers returned to the city without incident.
