Black Diamond Police Reports 2-22 to 2-27, 2021

On 2/22/2021 officers responded to the 33200 block of SE Stevens St for a report of an unsecured structure. Officers checked the building and found it to be vacant and under construction. The unsecured building appeared to be an oversight. Officers secured the structure before clearing the scene.

On 02-24-21, at approximately 09:45 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an unsecured residence. Officers were advised that the door to a residence in the 29600 block of 232nd AVE SE was open and the home owner was on vacation. Officers arrived at the residence and found the front door open; although, the door handle was still locked. There was no signs of forced entry. Officers cleared the residence and found no one inside and nothing out of place. There was no signs the a burglary occurred. Officers pulled the front door closed and secured the residence.

On 02/24/2021 Officers were dispatched to the city of North Bend in regard to a request for assistance with a rape investigation. Officers arrived on scene and assisted with the investigation.

On Wednesday, 02/24/2021 at approximately 1336 hours, Officers took a phone call reference theft of packages from the porch of a residence that is outside the city limits in unincorporated King County’s Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction. The reporting party thinks it might be related to the recent Black Diamond theft reports that were posted online. Subject was referred to King County Sheriff’s Office to make the original theft report.

On Wednesday, 02/24/2021, Officers received an email reference damage to the pay station at the Boat Launch in the 22400 block SE 296th St that occurred sometime this weekend.  An unknown person spray painted the machine with blue paint. There is no suspect information currently. Due to this the case is inactive.

On 02/26/2021, Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 33100 block of Glacier AVE SE. The vehicle was legally parked and legally standing. Officers cleared the scene.

On 2/26/2021, Officers were dispatched to an unsecure premise in the 33000 block of Evergreen AVE SE. Officers cleared the the residence and found no signs that a crime occurred. A walk through of the residence was conducted with the homeowner who noticed nothing out of place or missing. Officers cleared the scene.

On 02/27/2021, officers were dispatched to confirm a Black Diamond warrant for Obstructing Law Enforcement. Officers confirmed the warrant and the subject was booked into SCORE Jail.
