Black Diamond Police Reports from March 24 to 30, 2021

On 3/24/2021, officers were advised by records specialists of a subject requesting phone contact from an officer. Officers made contact with the individual who had questions regarding her vehicle, which a friend had borrowed. At the conclusion of the conversation she did not want officer involvement.

On 03/26/2021, Officers were dispatched to a request for phone contact in regard to a forged check. The reporting party decided that they did not wish to make the issue a criminal matter, and Officers advised them on steps to handle the issue as a civil matter.

On 03/26/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 33700 block of Abrams AVE in regard to an anonymous report of mail found in the stream. Officers recovered mail with a local address and returned it to the residence.

On 03/28/2021, an Officer responded to the 32200 block of Mountain View Dr reference a suspicious vehicle. Caller advised a vehicle was found abandoned in their yard.  The vehicle’s owner was notified and he advised that he wanted nothing to do with the vehicle. The vehicle was eventually towed to the Royal Towing compound.

On 3/28/2021, an officer was dispatched to confirm a Black Diamond arrest warrant for The City of Enumclaw. The Black Diamond warrant was confirmed and the subject was directly booked into the Enumclaw Jail.

On 03/29/2021, an Officer was dispatched to the 21700 block of SE 288th St in reference to a fraud. An investigation was started and a report was completed.

On 3/29/2021, officers responded to the 29000 block of SE Green River Gorge Road to assist the King County Sheriff’s Office with a collision. Black Diamond officers arrived first and tended to the injured driver who was trapped in his vehicle until the Fire Department arrived to extricate him. The driver was airlifted to Harborview Hospital. The King County Sheriff’s Office conducted the collision investigation.

On 3/30/2021, an officer was dispatched to a citizen dispute in the 29000 block o fo 220th PL SE. The reporting party was upset that a truck keeps parking near his property and the tires are hitting his decorative bricks. Contact was made the owner of the truck and he agreed not to park it there in the future.

On 03/30/2021 Officers stopped a vehicle in the 29000 block of 215th PL SE for an expired registration. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver had a license status of Suspended in the Third Degree.
