Black Diamond Police Reports 4-26 to 5-2-2021

On 04/26/2021, am Officer was dispatched to the 32900 block of Lookout Ln reference to a residential burglary. Investigation revealed that a residence was entered and a water heater was stolen from the home’s garage.

On 04-27-21 at approximately 08:23 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a traffic complaint. Officers were advised that a female called 911 to report that vehicles on SE 288th ST consistently fail to stop for the stop paddle for school buses in the mornings. Officers contacted the reporting person and advised her the Officers will make their presence known in that area on SE 288th ST in the mornings to discourage vehicles from running the stop paddles

On 04/27/2021, an Officer was dispatched to an attempted vehicle theft in the 32400 block of 4th Ave. Officer confirmed the attempted theft and closed case due to no suspects or investigative leads.

On 04-27-21, at approximately 10:51 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a 911 hang-up. Officers were informed that the call was placed by a cell phone in the area of a residence located at 25200 of Kanaskat DR with an uncertainty of 22 meters.  Officers were advised that the cell phone went to voicemail on several call back attempts. Officers attempted to locate the subject who dialed 911 with negative results. Officers also attempted to call the cell phone with negative results.

On 04/28/2021 Officers responded to the 32300 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a road hazard. Officers discovered that someone had knocked over a portable toilet and moved it into the center of the roadway. The toilet was moved off of the roadway.

On 04-28-21, at approximately 08:18 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an animal problem. Officers were advised that a female called 911 to report that two dogs were wandering the neighborhood near the 32600 block of Highland DR. Officers were also advised that King County Animal Control were also advised. Officers conducted an area check for the lose dogs with negative results.

On 04/30/2021 Officers were dispatched to a request for telephone contact with an individual wanting advice on a dispute with a roommate. Officers determined that the matter was civil in nature and advised the individual on options for resolving the matter.

On 04/30/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Initial AVE in Enumclaw in regard to a request for an agency assistance from the Enumclaw Police Department. Officers assisted with securing and processing a crime scene.

On 5/2/2020, an officer responded to the 25800 block of Lawson St for a loud music complaint. The officer contacted the party and requested they turn the music down to a reasonable level. The party complied.
