Black Diamond Police Reports May 3 to 8, 2021

On 05-03-21, at approximately 12:25 hours, Officers were contacted by the Project Manager for Ichijo Technological Homes inside the Ten Trails neighborhood.  The subject informed the Officers that sometime between 17:30 hours on 04-30-21 and 09:00 hours on 05-01-21, someone stole some wood from a residence in the 33500 block of Walnut AVE SE.  The house was being built and the wood was left on the ground in front of the house. There is no suspect information.

On 05/04/2021, an Officer responded to the 32400 block of 6th Ave reference to a Fire Assist. A subject was transported by EMS to the Hospital and the Officer stayed with the subject’s children until a family member could respond to take custody.

On 5/5/2021 an officer was dispatched to a two car motor vehicle accident at 216th AVE SE and SE 288th ST. None of the involved parties were injured. The at fault driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way. A WA State Patrol collision report was completed.

On 5/6/2021 an officer was dispatched to a lose German shepherd running around the neighborhood in the 25000 block of Franklin DR. When the officer arrived, he made contact at the address associated with the dog and found that he pet had made it back inside the house. The original caller had also made a complaint with the King County Animal Control for further investigation.

On 04/06/2021 Officers were dispatched to a parking lot in the 31500 block of Lake Sawyer RD in regard to a report of a vehicle with a broken window. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle who advised them that cash and other items had been taken from the vehicle. No suspect information was available.

On 5/7/2021, Officers were dispatched to a DOA in the 32400 block of 3rd AVE. Officers conducted an investigation and the deceased female was removed from the scene by a King County Medical Examiner.

On 05/08/2021 Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 30700 block of 229th PL SE in regard to a request from another agency to attempt contact with the registered owner of a recovered vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the individual at the address given.

On 5/8/2021 officers responded to the 33500 block of Abrams Ave for a report of a drowning. It was determined the individual likely had a medical emergency leading to the drowning in a hot tub. The individual did not survive.

On 5/8/2021, an officer received a call of a civil issue by phone regarding a child custody issue. The officer contacted both parties by phone and attempted to mediate the issue. An agreement between the parties could not be reached and the issue would be dealt with later during civil court appearance.
