Black Diamond Police Reports May 11 to 16, 2021

On 5/11/2021, Officers responded to the intersection of Baker St and 3rd Ave for a welfare check of a subject laying on the sidewalk. Officers contacted the subject and found he was taking a nap while waiting for the bus and did not need assistance.

On 5/11/2021, officers responded to the 32600 block of 3rd Ave for a report of a shoplifter. Officers contacted the subject and recovered the property. The business requested the subject be trespassed from the business.

On 05/13/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 32600 block of Hemlock AVE SE in regard to a complaint of people in a park. Officers checked the area and found local residents in a private park, with no crime being committed.

On 05/14/2021 Officers responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover collision involving a vehicle fire in the 28400 block of SE 440th ST. Officers assisted Enumclaw Police Department Officers with the scene and traffic control.

On 05/14/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 25200 block of Kanasket DR in regard to a report of a theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle. Officers contacted a vehicle in the area that matched the description of the suspect vehicle however, it was determined that the vehicle was not connected with the theft. Pending any further development of suspect information, this case is being placed on inactive status.

On 05/16/2021, Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 30600 block of 224th AVE SE regarding a welfare check on a female. The female was not home, but later contacted officers and advised her vehicle had broken down and she was okay.
