Black Diamond Police Reports May 16 to 23, 2021

On 05/16/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 30700 block of 3rd Ave reference 

to a welfare check.  A man was unconscious inside of a vehicle at that location. Upon arrival, EMS was notified to respond and upon their arrival, the male was 

treated for diabetic issues.

On 5/19/2021 an officer was dispatched to a parking complaint in the 25600 block of SE Olympic Lane. It was reported that a boat was parked in a marked fire lane. The officer arrived and contacted the owner of the boat who agreed to move it.

On 5/20/2021, Officers were dispatched to an overdose in the 32200 block of Mountain View DR. Officers arrived on scene and the subject was conscious and breathing. Medical personnel arrived and transported the subject to a nearby medical facility.

On 5/20/21, Officers were dispatched to a shoplift in progress in the 29000 block of 216th AVE SE. Officers were unable to make contact with the suspect at the scene. However, the suspect was identified by a witness and video surveillance. A criminal citation will be sent by mail to the suspect for theft in the 3rd degree.

On 5/20/2021, Officers were dispatched to a residential burglary in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE. After conducting an initial investigation the victims were able to make contact with the suspect and made arrangements to have their items returned and the damages paid for by the suspect. This is now a civil matter.

On 05/22/2021, an Officer was dispatched to the 24700 block of Roberts Dr reference to suspicious persons. Upon arrival, the suspicious subjects were identified as contractors re-striping a parking lot.

On 5/22/2021, an officer was dispatched for a phone report of a civil issue in the 31100 block of 3rd Ave. The reporting party was concerned that cats were getting on his car in the middle of the night and leaving foot prints and scratches. The reporting party was advised this was a civil issue and provided advice on how to handle the situation.

On 05/23/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 25600 block of Cumberland Way regarding an elderly female pounding on a window. Officers arrived and made contact with the residence. It was determined that the female suffered from Alzheimer and dementia. No crime occurred during this incident.

On 5/23/2021, officers responded to the 33300 block of Glacier Ave SE for a report of a burglary to a home under construction. Several appliances were removed from inside the residence. Fingerprints were recovered that were submitted for analysis.
